I’m Dan Walker, Certified Public Accountant and president of Walker & Associates. My staff and I have been providing accounting, auditing and retirement plan administration services to individuals, businesses and governments in Northeast Georgia since 1980.

Over the years, many of our clients have grown into friends, and we’ve watched their companies prosper and grow. Some of our clients are now using funds from the retirement plans we helped them choose years ago. It’s rewarding to see them reap the results of their effort.

Soon after ERISA became law in 1975, Dan became involved in retirement plan administration as the adminstrator of a plan for a large professional group. In those early days, each plan was a custom creation, usually written with legal assistance. Prototype plans were not available.

After founding Walker & Associates in 1980, his accounting services quickly expanded to cover retirement plan administration and auditing. Now Dan and his staff puts 25 years of retirement plan experience and corporate tax knowledge to work for employers throughout the South.
