Qustions? Ask Dan

The Department of Labor (DOL) requires that all employers with more than 100 eligible plan participants and certain smaller plans conduct employee benefit plan (EBP) audits on an annual basis. The audits are intended to ensure that your EBP is compliant with DOL rules. It also assures plan participants that your plan is being administered in an unbiased, fair manner. These audits protect the employer from inadvertent errors which could cause embarrassment to the company, or worse.

:: Employee Benefit Plans are not a sideline for us. They are a major part of our practice.
For over 20 years, we have helped employers set-up, administer and audit their employee benefit plans. We are completely familiar with plans of all types and the unique requirements of each of them. Auditing is a major part of our practice.

This in-depth experience enables us to handle EBP audits with complete confidence and accuracy. Our familiarity with Department of Labor (DOL) rules helps ensure that your auditing process moves swiftly, efficiently, and meets all government requirements. As a member of the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Quality Audit Center, our firm demonstrates it's adherence to the highest audit standards.

:: Most of the EBP audits are completed on-site with minimum disruption of day-to-day company activities. Not only will you receive an accurate, reliable audit from Walker & Associates, but you will be kept aware of any changes in DOL or IRS rules that could affect your plan throughout the plan year.
